Constitution of All Pakistan Sohrani Ittehad

The organization shall be named "All Pakistan Sohrani Ittehad" (APSI), which in this Constitution shall be referred to as the "Ittehad." This name shall be used in all legal, official, administrative, and public dealings.

This Constitution shall have complete supremacy over all activities, office bearers, and members at all levels, including the Central General Assembly, Provincial, District, and Union Council levels.

The "Ittehad" shall operate as a non-profit organization. Since registration of any non-governmental organization is mandatory in Pakistan, the enforcement of this Constitution and all its provisions shall be in full compliance with the existing laws and registration requirements of Pakistan.

Nature of the Organization

APSI shall be a non-political, non-profit, welfare-oriented, and community development-based organization working for the unity, development, and rights of the Sohrani community throughout Pakistan.

The fundamental objectives of the Ittehad shall be to provide social, educational, economic, and welfare services. Its scope shall extend throughout Pakistan, and it shall establish its organizational structure from the Union Council level to the Federal level.

Core objectives include:

Creating awareness among the masses

Improving the livelihood of the Sohrani community

Assisting backward classes in education and healthcare

Ensuring equal representation of all members regardless of age, gender, or social status

Establishing connections between various regional institutions and community representatives for collective welfare

Protecting the rights, dignity, and identity of the Sohrani community at all levels

All activities shall be non-political, and interference by any political party in the services of these institutions shall be strictly prohibited.

Membership shall be open to all individuals belonging to the Sohrani community and other affiliated communities who:

Accept and uphold the Constitution of APSI

Are willing to work for the unity and development of the community

Agree to abide by the Code of Conduct of the Ittehad

Rights of Members:

Right to vote in digital elections

Right to participate in meetings and assemblies

Right to propose candidates for leadership positions

Right to be heard and express opinions within the Ittehad

Right to access organizational information (subject to confidentiality)

Duties of Members:

Adhere to the Constitution and rules of the Ittehad

Pay voluntary contributions or donations if capable

Promote unity and brotherhood within the community

Participate in organizational activities and programs

Maintain the dignity and honor of the Sohrani community

Membership in the Ittehad shall be completely free of charge. No membership fee shall be collected from any member at any level.

Interested individuals shall fill out the prescribed membership form available on the organization's digital portal or official application.

The application shall be submitted through the digital portal/application.

The following information shall be provided:

Full name and CNIC number

Address and contact number

Verification of connection with the Sohrani community

Initial verification shall be conducted by the Administrative Officer,.cabinet member or volunteer.

Upon completion of all conditions, the application shall be forwarded to the admin.

After approval, the applicant shall be registered as a member in the digital database.

Suspension:
If a member does not participate in organizational activities for two year or violates constitutional provisions, their membership may be suspended temporarily.

Termination:
Membership shall be terminated in the following cases:

Resignation by the member

Conviction in a criminal case

Violation of the Constitution or laws of Pakistan

Engagement in activities against the interests and objectives of the Ittehad

Involvement in anti-organizational activities

Eligibility for Reinstatement:
Membership may be reinstated in the following cases:

When a member submits a written resignation and later expresses a desire to rejoin

When a member suspended due to inactivity wishes to become active again

After disciplinary action, upon submission of a written pledge of reform and respect for organizational discipline

Reinstatement Procedure:

The concerned individual shall submit a reinstatement application, mentioning their previous membership number, reasons, and pledge of loyalty

The application shall be reviewed by the Central Administrative Office

A new digital membership card may be issued

Conditional Reinstatement:
The Central General Assembly shall have the authority to reinstate a member on a temporary, conditional, or probationary basis.

All positions at the central, provincial, and district levels in the organization shall be established on a "permanent" basis. The purpose of adopting this system is to maintain continuity and stability in organizational vision and administrative affairs.

However, this permanent status shall not be absolute but shall be subject to the accountability processes and disciplinary actions provided in Chapter 6. Office holders shall receive protection solely for administrative stability, not for any kind of disciplinary or financial misconduct.
